American Group was founded in 2006 by Michael Schember and Daniel Krivickas, two veterans of the trucking industry. Both had worked for LTL carriers for well over a decade, and recognized that there were more efficient and responsive ways to handle shipping responsibilities for their clients. Committed to finding a better way to take care of clients, they launched American Group as a “boutique” brokerage offering LTL and FTL freight services. Their goals, since day one, were to listen to clients, understand their needs, and work together to craft solutions to problems within their existing supply chain.
